My inspiration & creative process
"Daisy and the Dream Bus" is the enchanting creation of a very talented first-time author. The story follows Daisy, who wishes for more memories, or "wish-were-mories," with her Grandad, now living high up in the clouds.
To help bring this magical tale to life, we decided to create a dummy book, sketching most pages while fully illustrating one or two, providing a visual tool to pitch to literary agents and traditional publishers.
I was captivated by the incredible world Miriam crafted for her characters; every conversation about the story was a firework in my head, sparking my creativity and inspiration. Working on this project has been a joyous and inspiring journey, and I feel privileged to help bring Miriam's vivid imagination to the page.
